Our very talented Group CEO has been shortlisted for the Lifetime Achievement Award in the 2017 Women in Compliance Awards. In 2014 Joanne won Inspirational Woman of the Year in the same awards, recognising her as a key role model within the industry.
The Women in Compliance Awards celebrate the achievements of female compliance professionals and the contributions they make to their businesses and the wider compliance community.
Over 300 compliance professionals from across the world are due to attend. The awards are a great opportunity for colleagues, partners, clients and industry peers to gather, who exemplify the best initiatives across the sector.
Joanne said: “It is such an honour to be shortlisted for a Women in Compliance Award; these awards have real meaning. They encourage women working in a traditionally male-dominated space – this strive to equality benefits the industry and UK business as a whole.
“Compliance is a fantastic arena to work in – it IS the new rock and roll! – I’ve enjoyed my career immensely. There are so many more challenges and opportunities, particularly around RegTech. So whilst I am delighted and humbled to be shortlisted for the lifetime achievement award, it most certainly does not mean I’m done yet! “
Joanne has also been shortlisted as a Female CxO Trailblazer at the Tech Trailblazer Awards. The awards are assessed via a panel of judges and also votes from the public. Please help us to help Joanne win by voting for her here.
The Women in Compliance Awards are held at a Grosvenor House in London on 30th March. We wish Joanne the best of luck!
