Here at TCC, we’re serious about sustainability. We believe that addressing environmental, social and ethical concerns in financial services is good for our clients, their customers, and ultimately the planet that we all depend on.

That’s why we’re so excited to announce that we received a gold rating during our recent EcoVadis sustainability assessment, putting us in the top 5% of firms surveyed.

EcoVadis is one of the most thorough and well-trusted business sustainability ratings. The assessment methodology is based on international standards – including the United Nations Global Compact, Global Reporting Initiative and ISO 26000 – and has been used by 75,000 companies worldwide.

The assessment delved into four key areas of our business operations, and we’re proud to say we scored above average in every category:

1.Environment

  • Operations: energy consumption & GHGs, Water, Biodiversity, local & accidental pollution, materials, chemicals & water
  • Products: product use, product end-of-life, customer health & safety, environmental services & advocacy

2.Ethics

Corruption, anticompetitive practices, responsible information, advocacy

3.Labor and human rights

  • Human resources: employee health & safety, working conditions, social dialogue, career management & training
  • Human rights: child labor, forced labor & human trafficking, diversity, discrimination & harassment, external stakeholders human rights

4.Sustainable procurement

Supplier environmental practices, supplier social practice

Victoria Mansbridge, Head of Bid Management and senior member of our internal Green Team, says “Our gold rating is a fantastic acknowledgment of the work we’re doing to ensure the highest possible standards in sustainable procurement, labour & human rights, ethical practices and environmental actions.

We know transparency in these areas is hugely important to our clients and partners as well, and this award is testament to our shared values.”

We’d like to thanks EcoVadis for their encouragement and support, and look forward to continuing to drive sustainability best practice throughout 2022 and beyond.
